Fan Fiction is when you write a story using another auther's characters and or main plot ideas. It is no piracy as long as you put a disclamair. You can change the story line of your favourite story so that it suits your wants. Say you wanted Miroku from Inu Yasha to fall in love with some different then you can write your own version when he does. You can have Alternate Universe where you write maybe in a different time or use a totally different story line but with the same characters.

I my self even have fan fictions posted on different sites. The main anime ones are Inu Yasha. Shoot over to the links page and check out the direct link to some of my fan fics.

So that you do not have a law suit on your hands you must put a disclamiar at the beginning of your story. It at least must contain you denying ownership of any characters or story lines involved in your story.

Another thing that you should put at the top of your fic should be a warning of the content in your fic. Like how harsh the languag used is, how lemony your sex scenes get and how violent some scenes are.

Ever wanted to know what would happen if you paired Sesshoumaru and Sango together? Well with Parody fan fictions you could do it. A great laugh that would be.

A great format for Parody fanfictions is the script format Example below:

Duo: *jumps onto bar top and does the bum dances in pink leather pants* I'm too sexy for my shirt too for my shirt!

Wulfei: *rolls eyes and throws glass of tequila at him* get down your embarassing.

Duo: Your just jealous that my butt looks better in these pants than your does.

There arew many fan fiction sites floating about ont he net and I have found the two best so far. MediaMiner and FanFiction.net.

MediaMiner: is a anime only site which has almost any anime that you can post under. If there is not the anime that you want to post under you can always submit it along with a description. MediaMiner also posts FanArt which I think I do not need to explain.
